energy

This term room 7 have been learning about energy. We started of learning with having a blog post were we put what we know and what we don't then Mr Maquand will look at the areas we need to improve on then we did it. Along with learning we did some fun experiments such as we would tie a spoon or fork to a string then tie the string to our fingers then we would put our fingers in our ear then we would hit our metal desk to prove that sound travels better threw solids and liquids than air. We are only a little way threw energy so have only really learnt the basics so when we go to high school we don't go there knowing knowing nothing. Well that's the end thanks for reading and remember don't stop reading my post thanks.

Room7 snow trip

On the 6th of September Room7  had there snow trip. We all had to wake up at 5.00 am to get to get ready and we had to be at school before 6.00 am. When everyone arrived at school we got into our transport groups and left to mountain. It was a long trip and when finally got there it was a great felling. We were skiing on the whakapapa side of the mountain. When we got up the mountain it was windy so we quikly hired our gear and went up the mountain. Most people stayed down the bottom slope of happy valley but some went up the mountain and skiied.

market day

On Friday we had our schools market day were we made fake money and would get a loan and sell stuff that we made. Some groups went for a food licences which most didn't get it but some did. On the day of market day every one was nerves because you have to make more or the same gongs the you loaned out and if you can't pay back your loan you are on rubbish duty. Our group made 220 gongs profit so we weren't on rubbish duty luckily.
